Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 7, 2026

SEOKit is a collection of free SEO tools that run in your browser. URLs you analyze are processed client-side — we do not track which sites you audit, what meta tags you generate, or which keywords you research. This policy explains what data exists, where it goes, and what we have access to (very little).

Client-Side Processing

The vast majority of our tools operate entirely within your browser. When you paste HTML into the heading analyzer, generate meta tags, build a robots.txt file, create schema markup, or preview Open Graph cards, all processing happens locally. The URLs, page content, and configuration choices you enter are not sent to any server controlled by SEOKit.

Tools That Make External Requests

A small number of tools may make requests to external services to function. For example, the Redirect Checker may send a URL to trace its redirect chain, and the IndexNow Ping tool sends URLs to search engine endpoints by design (that is the whole point of the tool — you are explicitly asking search engines to index your pages). When such requests occur, they are initiated directly from your browser and are visible in your browser's developer tools. SEOKit does not proxy, log, or store these requests.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect the URLs you enter, the HTML you paste, the meta tags you generate, the schema markup you create, the robots.txt rules you configure, or any other tool input or output. We do not have user accounts, so there are no email addresses, passwords, or profiles in our system.

Local Storage

SEOKit uses your browser's localStorage to persist tool history and favorites for your convenience. This data is saved on your device and is never transmitted to us. You can clear it at any time via your browser's site data settings.

Ads & Cookies

We display ads through Google AdSense to keep the site free. Google may set cookies on your browser to serve relevant advertisements. These cookies are managed by Google, not by SEOKit. You can manage ad personalization through Google's Ads Settings. SEOKit itself does not set any cookies.

Hosting

SEOKit is deployed to Cloudflare Pages. As with any web host, Cloudflare may log basic request metadata (IP address, timestamp, requested path) as part of their standard infrastructure. We do not control or access these logs. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for specifics.

Age Restriction

SEOKit is designed for webmasters, marketers, and developers. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.

Policy Changes

We may update this privacy policy as our tools evolve. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. No prior notice is required, but we recommend checking back periodically.
