These terms govern your use of seobox.dev ("the Site"), operated under the SEOKit brand. By using the Site, you accept these terms in full.

1. About Our Tools

SEOKit provides 14 free SEO tools including a meta tag generator, schema markup builder, robots.txt generator, Open Graph preview, hreflang tag generator, SERP simulator, keyword density analyzer, heading structure auditor, and more. Most tools run entirely in your browser. A few tools (like the Redirect Checker or IndexNow Ping) interact with external servers by necessity, as their function requires making HTTP requests to third-party endpoints.

2. SEO Analysis Is Informational

All analysis, scores, suggestions, and recommendations provided by SEOKit tools are informational in nature. We do not guarantee that following our suggestions will improve your search engine rankings, increase traffic, or achieve any specific SEO outcome. Search engine algorithms are complex, constantly changing, and outside our control. Our tools help you identify potential issues and generate standards-compliant markup — the rest depends on your content, competition, domain authority, and a hundred other factors.

3. Generated Output

Meta tags, schema markup, robots.txt files, hreflang tags, CSP headers, sitemaps, and any other code or content generated by our tools are yours to use however you like. We claim no intellectual property rights over tool output. You are responsible for reviewing generated code before deploying it to your website — while we aim for accuracy, automated generation can occasionally produce results that need adjustment for your specific setup.

4. IndexNow & External Requests

The IndexNow Ping tool submits URLs to search engine APIs on your behalf. By using this tool, you confirm that you have the authority to request indexing of the URLs you submit. Submitting URLs you do not control or own may violate search engine terms of service. SEOKit is not liable for any consequences of submitting incorrect or unauthorized URLs.

5. Acceptable Use

You may use SEOKit for analyzing and improving your own websites or websites you manage with proper authorization. You must not use our tools to generate spam content, manipulate search results in bad faith, or violate any search engine's webmaster guidelines. Automated scraping or programmatic access to our tools is not permitted.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

SEOKit is provided "as is" without any warranty, express or implied. We do not warrant that our tools produce error-free output, that analysis results are comprehensive, or that the Site will be available without interruption. We disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Limitation of Liability

SEOKit and its operators shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of our tools, including but not limited to: SEO ranking changes, traffic loss, penalties from search engines, broken markup deployed to your site, or reliance on analysis results. Since the Site is free, our maximum aggregate liability is zero.

8. Intellectual Property

The SEOKit brand, site design, tool interfaces, and educational content (blog posts, schema guides, checklists) are our property. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or repurpose our website content or tool interfaces without permission. As noted above, code and markup generated by our tools for your use is not subject to this restriction.

9. Advertising

The Site includes advertisements served by Google AdSense. Ad revenue allows us to offer all 14 tools for free. The content of these ads is determined by Google, and we bear no responsibility for advertised products or services.

10. Modifications

We may revise these terms at any time by posting changes to this page. Continued use of the Site after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are subject to applicable law, with disputes resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction.
